Full clinical history and symptom review
A thorough assessment of your symptoms, medical history, current medications, and any relevant previous diagnoses.
Interpretation of your blood test results
We accept NHS and private results. We review ferritin, haemoglobin, transferrin saturation, and CRP in detail and explains exactly what they mean.
Personalised care plan
A clear recommendation on whether IV iron is appropriate for you, what the treatment involves, and what to expect. No obligation to proceed.
Carried forward to treatment cost
Your £125 consultation fee is deducted from the cost of your treatment if you choose to proceed.

What is included
Full iron panel blood test
A comprehensive pre-treatment blood panel including ferritin, haemoglobin, full blood count, transferrin saturation, and CRP. Processed by our laboratory partner TDL.
Doctor consultation and review
A full clinical consultation with Dr Bhadresha to review your results, confirm suitability, and discuss your care plan.
IV iron infusion (Ferinject)
Up to 1,000mg of Ferinject (ferric carboxymaltose) administered by Beverly Avecilla, our specialist clinical nurse. 15 to 30 minutes, with 30-minute post-infusion observation included.
Six-week follow-up blood test
A repeat blood panel at six to eight weeks to confirm your iron levels have been restored. Can be couriered to and from your home, no need to attend the clinic.
Follow-up appointment
A review of your follow-up results and how you are feeling. Available in person or online, whichever is most convenient.
Digital results and clinical report
A complete digital report of your pre and post-treatment results, clinical notes, and recommendations, sent securely to you and, with your consent, to your GP.
Consultation and blood test fees are carried forward
If you book a consultation (£125) separately before proceeding to treatment, the full £125 is deducted from your £675 package price. If you book an Iron Panel (£100), the full £100 is carried forward. If you book the Comprehensive Panel (£280), £100 is carried forward to your treatment cost. The phlebotomist home visit fee of £50 is a standalone charge and is not carried forward.
Blood testing
How would you like to be tested?
If you do not have recent blood results, we can arrange testing in three ways. All options carry forward to the full package price.
At-home test kit
We send a finger-prick blood test kit to your address by post. You take the sample yourself and return it in the prepaid envelope. Results are available within 3 to 5 working days.

Core panel
Iron Studies and Full Blood Count
The essential tests for diagnosing iron deficiency and anaemia. Required before any IV iron infusion can be considered.

Pricing questions.
Do I have to pay for a consultation before booking the full package?
No. You can book the full package directly without a separate consultation. A clinical review by Dr Bhadresha is included in the full package price. Some patients prefer to start with a consultation only to ask questions before committing to treatment — both routes are perfectly fine.
I already have blood test results from my GP. Do I still pay for blood tests?
No. If you have recent NHS or private blood test results that include the right markers, we will use those and there is no charge for additional testing unless Dr Bhadresha determines it is clinically necessary. Bring your results to your consultation — digital or printed.
How does the carry-forward work exactly?
If you book and pay for a consultation (£125) and then proceed to treatment, your £125 is deducted from the £675 full package price. If you also paid for an Iron Panel (£100), that full £100 is carried forward too. If you paid for the Comprehensive Panel (£280), £100 of that is carried forward. The phlebotomist home visit fee of £50 is not carried forward as it covers the cost of the home visit itself.
What if Dr Bhadresha determines I am not suitable for treatment?
If following your consultation it is determined that IV iron is not clinically appropriate for you, the consultation fee remains payable as Dr Bhadresha’s clinical time has been used. She will always give you a clear explanation and advise on the right next steps. There is no charge for treatment that has not been provided.
Can I claim through private health insurance?
Many private insurers cover IV iron infusions where there is a clear clinical indication. We recommend contacting your insurer before booking to confirm your level of cover. We provide all necessary clinical documentation, itemised invoices, and letters to support your claim.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may incur a fee of up to 50% of the appointment cost. Cancellations within 24 hours or failure to attend without notice may be charged in full. Please see our Terms of Service for full details.
