Dr Rhea Bhadresha is a fully qualified GP and the founder of London Iron Infusion Clinic. A graduate of the University of Glasgow Medical School and a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, she established this clinic after treating patients who were frustrated with the limitations of oral iron therapy and the strict criteria that prevented many women from accessing intravenous treatment. She works four sessions a week at Curran and Partners NHS practice in Clapham SW4.
She was particularly affected by the experiences of women during and after pregnancy, struggling for months to restore their iron levels while managing the demands of new motherhood.
As Clinical Lead, she personally oversees every patient’s assessment and care plan. She reviews your blood results, determines your suitability for treatment, and ensures your care is clinically appropriate, safe, and effective from first consultation through to follow-up.

Beverly Avecilla is our Lead Clinical Nurse and the person who administers your infusion. With a distinguished clinical background spanning IV therapy, cardiology, and interventional cardiology, she brings a level of precision and experience to intravenous care that is exceptional.
Her interventional cardiology background means she has worked in some of the most technically demanding intravenous environments in medicine. Patients with difficult venous access, complex clinical presentations, and high clinical stakes. She brings that same expertise, calmness, and skill to every iron infusion she performs.
Beverly is consistently described by patients as reassuring, gentle, and highly professional. She takes time to explain exactly what she is doing at every stage and ensures every patient feels comfortable and in safe hands throughout their treatment.

Why it matters
Doctor-led care.
Not a luxury. A necessity.
IV iron is a medical procedure. It should be prescribed, overseen, and followed up by a doctor. Here is what that means for you.
Every patient assessed by a doctor
Safe management of reactions
Continuity from start to finish
